Should there be some sort of legislation on how the bill is to be split?

I say it should vary by how much was consumed by each person.

Each item of food should be tagged, and whoever eats that item will add that to their total.Should there be some sort of legislation on how the bill is to be split? No - I think the law should use rest-mass as the indicator. (That is the mass of an object that is not moving, for those unfamiliar with Special Relativity.)

But rather than weigh the food, the lovely couple will each have to strip and get weighed at the beginning and end of the meal in order to get an accurate assessment of consumption. And no going to the bathroom prior to the second weighing!

Now wouldn't that be romantic?Should there be some sort of legislation on how the bill is to be split?
lol :D

I think at the end of the day; gentlemen will reach for the bill and pay, and those...others, will split the bill.

And I believe that sets the tone for your future relationship (if it goes that far) and the man who pays will probably be a gentleman in other aspects, and provide, protect and be the masculine energy of the relationship whereas the ones who decide to go dutch will probably continue going dutch and make sure that everything is "fair" and even steven.
but it's kinda funny because most women want to be the feminine energy of the relationship and those who do go dutch (and this is just what I have noticed) tend to resent their boyfriend because he doesn't let them be feminine and always insist on everything being fair and square, this will damage the relationship because women often do not realize until later that going dutch and being the masculine energy (you know what i mean) doesn't come natural to most women and they want to be spoiled sometimes, having their boyfriend pay for things because subconsciously this tells us the man is a great provider and a good father for your future children.Should there be some sort of legislation on how the bill is to be split?Capitol Hill is way ahead of you. That piece of legislation is actually tacked on at the last minute to all the good legislation causing the latter to fail and our recession and lack of social services to continue. *searches for news link* ....I'll find it here in a sec, hold up a minute......Should there be some sort of legislation on how the bill is to be split?
It was tried, several years ago

Then the court case was messy

Party B argued that her food was off. and she threw up

So demanded money back from the guy that "could" have been her future husband

She missed out on marrying Mr GatesShould there be some sort of legislation on how the bill is to be split? If I went on a date with a guy who pulled out a friggin' calculator in order to divvy up the bill "just so" I would definitely not be impressed.
