What is the process for merging House and Senate bills, particularly the current health care legislation?

The bills are quite different, and now, all I know is that they must be "merged." What is the process for this? Is it up to one particular committee? If so, which one? I would like to know who is on it.What is the process for merging House and Senate bills, particularly the current health care legislation?Each house will supply members for a conference committee where they will iron out the differences in the two bills.
