Should US congress stop the partisan bickering and get badly needed legislation passed?

I am fed up with both Democrat and Republican lawmakers.

It's time to stop acting like children and get their work done.Should US congress stop the partisan bickering and get badly needed legislation passed?what they are bickering over is the the definition of "badly needed."Should US congress stop the partisan bickering and get badly needed legislation passed?
spending billions of dollars we do not have on condoms and abortions for third world countries, a water park in miami, cable converter boxes, a billion and a half for the census dept. a bunch of construction projects that won't even start for years which will mostly employ illegal immigrants and funding every democrat pet project that has been on the back burner for 8 yrs is not "badly needed legislation!"Should US congress stop the partisan bickering and get badly needed legislation passed? They should not force on party to vote for a bill on which they had ZERO input and disagree with strongly.

Partisanship should be addressed while they are DRAFTING the legislation so there will be no partisanship when it comes time to SIGN the bill. People need to get this concept.
BOTH parties are corrupt and self serving Boo! we do need a legitmate 3rd party...im independent for a reason. Im tired of being told to chose sides regardless of policy.....Stop being sheeple and be independent thinking people! Term limits for EVERYONE in DC!Should US congress stop the partisan bickering and get badly needed legislation passed? You don't just blindly vote for legislation that you disagree with, in the interest of being a peacemaker.

I don't want a kinder, gentler Congress. They still have to stand up for what they believe in, that's why we voted for them.Should US congress stop the partisan bickering and get badly needed legislation passed?
It's not 'bickering'. It's a real fundamental difference in the role of government. This rush to throw our money at the problem is lunacy. We can not spend our way out of debt.
I agree with you. I'm dropping out of the Rupublican party (which I've belonged to for 35 years) all together, I've had it with both parties. A third party may have much better chance in the future.Should US congress stop the partisan bickering and get badly needed legislation passed?
I think my state sen. ( traitor bitches Collins and Snowe) put the nail in that coffin for me.

I would like a third party ...maybe one that had a handle on truth and common sense.
Congress is at its best is when they do nothing. Let them bicker. It means that they aren't thinking of ways to screw the tax payers.
Throwing away a trillion dollars for condoms and TV converters is hardly "badly needed legislation".
Sometimes the best thing Congress does is nothing.
