What congressional committee(s) deal with legislation concerning gun control?

If a constitutional amendment creating national standards for gun control were proposed, which committees in the House and the Senate would address the issue? What congressional committee(s) deal with legislation concerning gun control?Hi

All bills start on the floor of their respective body. They are then assigned to committee. Assuming that this sort of bill then made it out of the committee, it would then have to pass both bodys. The president would then have to sign it and then the states would have to ratify the amendment.

As it is, I wish that the states would just enforce the constitution as it is currently written. Instead we have a bunch that have ignored the constitution, which indicates that they do not care about the rule of law.
