What is the legislation that exists to protect yourself from harassment in the workplace?

Look at the link from the first answer if you are in the UK. If you wish to complain about harassment in the workplace in the UK you should in the first instance make sure a colleague or other person at work knows about the harassment. This is vital, because if nobody else knows about it:

- you can't expect it to be remedied and

- you will not be allowed to present your case to an employment tribunal.

Note also that "the workplace" does not only include the place of work itself. If for example you were being harassed during after-work drinks in the pub with colleagues, that would be considered to be an extension of the workplace and would be covered in the same law.

Note also that the employer can be held responsible for the actions of its staff. This is known as vicarious liability. So if a colleague is harassing you, the boss can be held to account for it, even if he is not the one doing the harassing. So it is in their interests to sort it out.

On a negative note, many people fail to report harassment at work because they fear for their job, think they will be somehow forced out or otherwise made to pay for reporting the matter. What is the legislation that exists to protect yourself from harassment in the workplace?U.S. Constitution, Amendment 2

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

I'm not sure what harassment you are facing, but generally speaking a .357 revolver or a 1911 .45 will go a long way towards ending the harassment. What is the legislation that exists to protect yourself from harassment in the workplace?http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Employment/R鈥?/a>
