What measures, other than legislation, have been adopted to improve race relations in the UK since 1979?

I'm doing A2 Politics and I'm trying to do an essay on race relations in the UKWhat measures, other than legislation, have been adopted to improve race relations in the UK since 1979?whatever they've done - they haven't done a good job of it - flooding the country with immigrants - white and other races has made a right mess of the place. Indigenous people just perceive they are at the back of the queue for services that they paid for.
