I have heard that the new legislation is aimed at the Bondage, Domination and Sado Masochism (BDSM) community ?

I have heard that the new legislation is aimed at the Bondage, Domination and Sado Masochism (BDSM) community and will criminalise many millions of people. Is this true?

WELL IS IT?????????????????!I have heard that the new legislation is aimed at the Bondage, Domination and Sado Masochism (BDSM) community ?It is true. The Criminal Justice and Immigration Act 2008 (CJIA) in the UK contains section 63 which effectively outlaws possessing photographs of consenting adults who are not breaking any laws (i.e. the act is legal, but owning a photograph of it is not - although there is a provision so that people taking part in the act are allowed to possess photographs of themselves).

The so-called "extreme pornography" described in section 63 defines "extreme" as "(a) an act which threatens a person鈥檚 life, (b) an act which results, or is likely to result, in serious injury to a person鈥檚 anus, breasts or genitals, (c) an act which involves or appears to involve sexual interference with a human corpse, (d) a person performing or appearing to perform an act of intercourse or oral sex with an animal (whether dead or alive),".

The main issue is that this outlaws photographs of legal acts. It also outlaws acts which might look like they're illegal (i.e. you can't pretend to be a corpse). Also, it leaves too much for the jury to decide - there's no test to say what "serious" injury is.I have heard that the new legislation is aimed at the Bondage, Domination and Sado Masochism (BDSM) community ?
Whether if it is true or not, I don't understand why they would waste their time with that. How on earth can somebody control that? Government doesn't like abortion, but why should men in fancy suits and limousines tell a woman what to do with her body, a lot of them don't like homosexuality, but the government sure isn't in hell going to tell me who I can love and can't love. BDSM is just one of those controversial things that is going to always be looked at weird but it isn't going to be something you will stop. They need to be worrying about human trafficking, gangs, and hate groups, instead of telling people what to do with their romantic and sex lives.I have heard that the new legislation is aimed at the Bondage, Domination and Sado Masochism (BDSM) community ?I haven't heard anything, except that in the UK possession of "extreme" pornography portraying any type of sexualized violence is now illegal. That pretty much makes any BDSM porn, no matter how consensual, impossible to own. So technically you can whip your wife or husband in your house all you want, but if you take a polaroid of it, you are now in violation of the law.
Search Google News. I made a cursory look at the hits on "BDSM," and I see no horrific legislation impending save UK's moralistic law against so-called "extreme" pornography.I have heard that the new legislation is aimed at the Bondage, Domination and Sado Masochism (BDSM) community ?What legislation? And how are they going to control what you do in your bedroom? Put little cameras in there and watch?

Welcome to 1984, Big Brother is watching!I have heard that the new legislation is aimed at the Bondage, Domination and Sado Masochism (BDSM) community ?

What legislation, proposed where?
I wonder whose "job" it is to "investigate" LOL.
I don't see how any one could control what two consenting adults do in the privacy of their own homes.
...people need to take their heads out of the sand...yes, it is true!
