Is this evidence that the Democrats do hate our Military and our Nation?Congress is still refusing to pass legislation without pork that would provide funds for our troops? That is the main reason they should all be voted out next year...They have no right to hold our troops hostage just for political mumble jumbleCongress is still refusing to pass legislation without pork that would provide funds for our troops?
Yes, you are correctCongress is still refusing to pass legislation without pork that would provide funds for our troops?Pork is the only way to get this admin to spend our tax dollars on America.
Show more that the Bush admin hates America, if that is how you want to view it.
Like Murtha said, the surge is working. Now the Dems need double their traitorous efforts.
This coming from someone who didn't support the invasion, but you know, failure at this point is not an option.Congress is still refusing to pass legislation without pork that would provide funds for our troops? No but it is proof that Bush hates pork more than he supports the troops.Congress is still refusing to pass legislation without pork that would provide funds for our troops?
It's evidence they are trying to do what they were elected to do, DEFUND THE WAR NOW. And if they won't do it, they get voted out too.
No, it is evidence that the reforms they claimed they were going to implement were only talk and it's back to normal politics.Congress is still refusing to pass legislation without pork that would provide funds for our troops?
Most dems don't know what pork is.
No. Democrats sometime just add usefull things to the pork they try to pass.
Don't think they hate the military, but the political ambition for 08 has been so blinding to them. The far left has banked on a loss in Iraq as a 08 campaign platform. unfortunately (as some Democrats are now admitting) was a huge campaign mistake and is costing them.
Palosi/Reid has taken her marching orders from the far left and as gambled all the gains in 06 they made away and hence now have the worst approval rating and dismal record of any congress in history.
Earmarks are a necessary part of the political process and lord knows the republican congress passed double the earmarks during their 6 year tenure at the helm, the president is posturing mostly because the Dems want accountability and he refuses to have any
they gave bush over 600 billion dollars which cause the largets deficit in history of the u.s.i think they're being fiscally responsible.besides they're doing what the american people elected them to do,thats bring home the troops.every bill purpose by democrats for a slow timely withdrawal of troops have been vetoed by bush not to mention anyother bill about child healthcare or anyother bill has been veoted by bush without him even lookin at it twice so why should they just give him anything he wants when he ask for it?
if he wants to play partisanship by passing every bill that republicans drafted when republuicans ran congress and vetoing every bill that democrats purpose while they control congress then why shouldn't dem play the same game?
who cares bout the troops? all this administration does is gives lip service..all hypocrites just like Sen. Craig
Yes, you are correct.
Dems holding mistletoe over their lower units will gain them no favor with their hopes on receiving any approval on pork spending.
Oink!
How much money (ie. my tax dollars) needs to be spent on that hole in the desert?
Oh pleeeze with the hate nation and military. That crap is getting old and everyone knows it is ridiculous anyway.
Frankly I wrote my reps and suggested that if Dubya wants more money for his little war that they make a deal. They pass money for the war on the condition that he sign Schip and one or two other progressive bills as written. He doesn't sign he doesn't get the money. He doesn't want to compromise on his own so he can be forced to compromise or he doesn't get anything. Since most Americans want us out of Iraq the support is for the Congress on this fight.
dems dont hate the military, we love our soliders, and want them out of the unjust occupation in iraq, if that means cuttin off the money, so be it. if they dont have the money, they cant stay. pretty simple.
It is okay for the president to do it but not congress? This president is more and more like the idiot Reagan all the time.
