In his 17 years in Congress, what legislation has Ron Paul actually gotten passed into law?

A link to a list will do...

Remember: "gotten passed into law"

ThanksIn his 17 years in Congress, what legislation has Ron Paul actually gotten passed into law? This will be good, but it really does not matter he is dropping out of the raceIn his 17 years in Congress, what legislation has Ron Paul actually gotten passed into law?
The point of this is... what? Anyone with common sense will know that a bill opposing the agenda's of lobbyists and big government (being voted on by lobby-purchased pro-big government politicians) is not going to get passed. So instead of looking at what bills were sponsored by him that represent YOU, and I and the rest of the country -- you'd rather look at what was passed?

Senator Obama is very popular. Have you seen what he has passed? 2 of the 3 are celebration days!

Clearly you're trying to make some kind of twisted point about Paul without having any understanding about how government works. If you did, maybe you'd understand the problems we're facing today.

Hell, look at your platform... it's not what someone tries to pass that's important; it's what did pass. Apparently the Authorization for Military Force in Iraq was a political success for everyone that voted for it and for Bush because it was passed? Interesting.

But anyway...

He has written successful legislation to prevent eminent domain seizure of a church in New York and a bill transferring ownership of the Lake Texana dam project from the federal government to Texas.

By successfully amending other legislation, he has also:

- barred funding for national identification numbers

- barred funding for federal teacher certification

- barred International Criminal Court jurisdiction over the U.S. military

- barred American participation in any U.N. global tax

- barred surveillance on peaceful First Amendment activities by citizens.

All of those are now law.

You're welcome! In his 17 years in Congress, what legislation has Ron Paul actually gotten passed into law?None that I know of, or most have I bet!

In Congress, his nickname is 'Dr. No', famous for turning down any bill that could increase the government's size.In his 17 years in Congress, what legislation has Ron Paul actually gotten passed into law?
We need hundreds more of him, but what would have been great about the Presidency is his unilateral ability to reverse unconstitutional executive action, his ability to present the budget, his veto, and his appointment power.

It is truly sad how little other Congressmen have lived up to their oaths, but if you are suggesting he should have failed to live up to his own in order to be more 'effective' and thereby become all the bad things they are and he isn't, that is nuts.In his 17 years in Congress, what legislation has Ron Paul actually gotten passed into law?More importantly is the fact that Dr. Paul has PREVENTED (by vote expression) countless bills which did not serve the people or the Constitution. That speaks more of a legislator than the 'lobbiest express-line' which has tended to be the 'force rigor' in DC since the 80's.
