Don't you think its time Germany removed the anti nazi legislation?

The time for denazification has passed. Its been 70 years. Bring back freedom of speech!Don't you think its time Germany removed the anti nazi legislation?I absolutely agree.

All this guilt that has been piled upon the poor Germans by the ruling powers all these years always struck me as hypocritical.

Are the hands of Britain, Russia, USA etc all squeeky clean from any type of criminal acts down through history?

For a few quick instances-

1. Britain invented the concentration camps in South Africa during the Boer war.

2. Soviet Russia had purges against the jews long before Germany ever thought of it.

3. Even the USA had their policy of selective breeding and sterilisation of so-called 'anti-social elements'. (if your family had any number of criminals in it then the state could actually sterilise the female members to halt the undesirable gene from moving on to the next generation).

All the above crimes have been laid at the door of the Germans as if they are to blame for all the world's inadequacies.

But I suppose if you bang on about next door's skeletons in the closet then it takes the attention of your own.

Give the Germans back their pride and get off their backs..!!Don't you think its time Germany removed the anti nazi legislation?
No.Don't you think its time Germany removed the anti nazi legislation? If you want freedom of speech, move to America.
I'll let the people of Germany figure that out for themselves.

Did Seeker Of Knowledge really just cite the bad guy from Die Hard as a real life Nazi?Don't you think its time Germany removed the anti nazi legislation?I'm pretty sure Germany is capable of voting on that kind of thing.Don't you think its time Germany removed the anti nazi legislation?
Given that the Nazi Party denied freedom of speech this question is a bit of an oxymoron. The Nazi party policies were a disaster for Germany and the whole of Europe no one wants them back least of all the Germans.bb
They know how irresponsible that kind of 'free' speech was, and have no desire to revisit the shame they went through.

I can respect that.Don't you think its time Germany removed the anti nazi legislation?
Are you a citizen of Germany? If yes, then you have a right to make this suggestion. But if you are not, then you don't have the right to tell the Germans what to do.

Germans have freedom of speech, but fortunately they understand the difference between liberty and license. They do have the freedom to talk about National Socialism, but that does not give radical groups a license to hold Nazi rallies or to paint swastikas on buildings or walls, or to hold hate demonstrations in public places.

Sometimes I wish that Americans understood the difference between liberty and license!
They will never allow that. I mean if they did the Germans would vote for them again, Berlin looks more like Istanbul these days.
If you think Nazi influence is not still an issue, wake up and smell the coffee.

Did you know the FDA is advised on what our species is to be consuming for proper dietary requirement, by pharmaceutical companies that have ties with names like Max Planck or Hans Gruber that are known Nazi affiliates?

The sciences that were learned in concentration camps are still affecting us, a mere 70 years of history, later. People are still making money on feeding our children and us known allergens to our species and saying they are good for you.

So go to work or school today and enjoy the lie that drives the pharmaceutical companies in sciences that were learned through torturous means.

Let me see if I can make this clearer for you. Enjoy your gluten based proteins derived from the diet of the herbivore. Enjoy the allergenic effects of hey fever and grind it up and call it pasta or bread.

If these and other issues remain un addressed, we are already loosing freedom of speech due to terrorist acts. You can no longer say Hi to Jack in the airport! I suggest you call him John!

I am as German as it comes in America in last name and I love roladen. I do not like to see near death people being taken to meet their makers behind bars either. We are still paying for their crimes now. They were responsible for torturing and killing people and literally opened and dissected peoples eyeballs without anesthetic while their heads were imobilized and their bodies stapped.

If you hug the tree too tightly, do you not realize you can kill the tree?

You are a seeker of knowledge and I respect that. I hope I helped find the truth for you.
