What is the Legislation / Act that gives the grounds for Marriage Annulment?

A marriage can be annulled in the UK under the following grounds. Can someone tell me what Act and which section this is written down in or is it purely common law?



1. The marriage had not been consummated.

2. Your partner was already married to someone else.

3. One of you was under 16 years of age.

4. You have inter-married

5. Your partner had venereal disease at the time of the marriage and they were aware of this at the time, but you were not.

6. Your partner was pregnant with another person'sWhat is the Legislation / Act that gives the grounds for Marriage Annulment?It is common law.
