I don't know what you-or anyone else's definition of a supermajority is but the senate is currently 57 Democrats, 2 Independents and 41 Republicans.To overcome the threat of filibuster, you need 60 votes.
At some point republicans will get the senate back but expect this trash talk to continue. If republicans have 51, expect the left to be completely dismayed when they can't get past a filibuster of the other party.

"The rules of the Senate are designed to give muscle to the minority," said Senate historian Donald Ritchie.

To say Republicans are simply impeding, in some overwhelming manner, reasonable legislation is also ridiculous, and that is evident in that the Democrats cannot even get the majority of their own party to support many of these bills.
