Should every state imediately pass legislation calling for a special elections to replace senators who left?

left befor the end of their terms instead of ONE guy appointing a replacment for the rest of the term?Should every state imediately pass legislation calling for a special elections to replace senators who left? The constitution says they must have special elections in fact.

They give the states the options of appointment if there is little time left in the term (or until a special election can be held)....but to be direct about it....a long term appoinment is unconstitutional.Should every state imediately pass legislation calling for a special elections to replace senators who left?
I think we should to replace them all.Should every state imediately pass legislation calling for a special elections to replace senators who left?Sure... all one of 'em.
After the Rod Blagojevich thing -- Yes, we can't trust state officials no moreShould every state imediately pass legislation calling for a special elections to replace senators who left? Be Nice. ~_~Should every state imediately pass legislation calling for a special elections to replace senators who left?
definitely, U.S. senators are elected not appointed and since there is no rush to fill the seat there should be special elections. Anyone who thinks there is a rush to fill the seats is probably not aware that the presidential candidates rarely attended votes in the Senate while campaigning.
No, I think most governors use this power responsibly. If they don't, they get arrested.

Seems fair to me.Should every state imediately pass legislation calling for a special elections to replace senators who left?
For sure, you know in the back of our minds we know how these guys are, but it still comes as a shock when it smacks us in the face like this.

I been a liberal for forty years, but I never thought we had a hold on morality, pretty much the same amount of self center ******* in both parties, I am liberal because middle and lower class do better when they are in, not because they are more honest.

My dad was an 8th grade graduate, He always said they were all a bunch of crooks, when I was younger I thought he said that because he was not educated and really did not understand the issues, I got two Bacheloers degrees, sociolgy and Buisness Administration, came to the conclusion years ago that my dad was right.
