When the Brady Bill was introduced into legislation, did the media seem to favor its ratification or not?

I am doing an AP government project on this bill and I want to know how the media (reliable news papers, news stations, etc.) felt about it.

Did Reagan's assassination attempt influence people's opinion back then.

Any internet sources that suppport your answer is greatly appreciated. :)When the Brady Bill was introduced into legislation, did the media seem to favor its ratification or not?The media was for the most part very favourable to the idea.

The general public was as well, however as time went by support seemed to be less noticeable, and much of the original support went by the way side. When the Brady Bill was introduced into legislation, did the media seem to favor its ratification or not?A reasonable way to answer is to research periodicals published during that time this may be done at most libraries.
