Republicans had their chance to do something about this. as i see it, most republicans in the congress don't really care for health care reform. they are only worried about it now because it is an issue for the liberal, and they weren't asked about anything so now they want to say democrats don't want to work with us.



fact of the matter is: they did in fact have years to do something and they are only worried about it now because they can use it to demean what the Liberals are doingWhen republicans had control of the senate and the house why didn't they pass health care legislation?Because it isn't going to work. Because what proposals they DID come up with, the Democrats blocked. Why? I don't know. Not invasive enough for them, I guess? And Republicans apparently believe in some form of personal liberty. And by the way... what exactly IS the health care crisis?

And if we go back a few more years to the Clinton era you just might remember Hillery conducting illegal secret meetings with her cronies about health care (health care reform was a promise her husband had made while running for office) and nothing was accomplished except wasting massive amounts of money.When republicans had control of the senate and the house why didn't they pass health care legislation?Because it won't work, will raise taxes, cost votes because the people in America don't want it, and will cause the overburdened national deficit the US has to rise even more.When republicans had control of the senate and the house why didn't they pass health care legislation?
they don't understand that once they lose office, they don't get to make decisions, and they really don't like that

Because it wasn't much of a problem back then and it's become outrageous ever since clinics and hospitals are forced to raise costs because they're getting stiffed on the bills.When republicans had control of the senate and the house why didn't they pass health care legislation?
Wasn't an issue back then and you know that. It shows that this is a politically motivated issue since no one cared less than a decade ago.
I must have missed the Constitutional amendment regarding health care,,,,,,,I'll find it and notify my congressman.

Clintons health bill was voted out in 1993 ya think there was a big change of thinking in 7 yrs?
They didn't want to p-off their biggest campaign contributors.
not absolutely nothing, Medicare Prescription Drug Modernization Act, this was in 2003.
Because Liberals were the majority in Congress and Bush could not do anything good for us.
They tried more than once and the Democrats blocked them.
They knew we couldn't possibly afford it and most of them don't want to be our mommies.
